Mathias Kyambadde Beaming with a smile Mathias Kyambadde walks into the Communication and Marketing Department, his joy flowing with words of appreciation. “ I have completed my training in excel and database,” he explains, pointing out he came on a study tour at the Uganda Industrial Research Institute in August 2015 and took interest in training in ICT, he then applied and undertook the training in March 2016.

“I used to use computer for music and films, now it has become an important way in which I record and keep my information,” Kyambadde remarks.

Kyambadde a businessman with an enterprise called World of Wonders Enterprise, notes that the new knowledge acquired with training from the Business Development Centre at UIRI is now a valuable skill in his work and looks hopeful in accessing other skills from the institute, particularly in his other area of interest, which is, soap making.
